The objective of the course is to provide knowledge and introduce practical skills in order to develop digital games. Participants learn to use one game development environment (e.g. Unity).
Upon completing the course the student:
– can develop simple digital games;
– knows the basic functionalities of one game development environment (e.g. Unity).

The course leader Associate Professor Martin Sillaots is teaching Game Design, Computer Graphic and Research Methods in Tallinn University. He is a partner of serious games projects like: SELEAG, siLang, EcoHouse, Change Management and member of Network of Serious Games – SEGAN. He is a co-founder of the Gamrilla game startup.
Timetable
Course sessions take place for a week, from Monday to Friday, 10:00 – 16:00.
Participants
Previous game design experience is useful but not mandatory.
Credit points
2 ECTS
Upon full participation and completion of course work students will be awarded 2 ECTS points and a certificate of completion.
