Ukraine is not just a brave country in the southeast of Europe, but also a country with incredibly beautiful landscapes, hospitable people, a melodious language, and a rich cultural heritage.

National Ukrainian culture has long been formed. Artists, writers, poets of the past and contemporary cultural figures in their work reflect different layers of Ukrainian compatriots, reveal their talents, industriousness, diligence and struggle for independence. The Ukrainian language is also an important attribute of Ukraine’s independence. For Ukrainians, language is not just their national difference and identity, but also a weapon that has proven its strength for thousands of years. This language belongs to the East Slavic group of Slavic languages, which are part of the Indo-European language family. About 40 to 45 million people in the world use Ukrainian as their native language. Also, the Ukrainian language is among the 30 most widely spoken languages in the world and one of the 3 most popular Slavic languages.

Over the past year, millions of Ukrainians were forced to leave their homes and temporarily settled around the world. During this period, the world interest in the national characteristics of Ukrainians, their culture, and language increased.
