Credits/Requirements
Tallinn Summer School has different requirements for each course. Some courses are designed only for PhD and Master level students. The language courses and the art workshops welcome anyone interested in language, culture and art. If there are any special requirements, they are listed under the course description. The number of credits varies according to the course.
ECTS – a common language for academic recognition.
ECTS, the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System, was developed by the European Commission in order to provide common procedures to guarantee academic recognition of studies abroad. It provides a way of measuring and comparing learning achievements and transferring them from one institution to another. This is achieved through the use of common ECTS credit units and a common ECTS grading scale. ECTS also improves access to information on foreign curricula.
A Tallinn University Certificate of Participation is also awarded to students for any courses they complete.
