The objective of the course is to provide knowledge and introduce practical skills in order to develop digital games.
Game development is a process of designing and creating games. This course is focusing on making – coding and programming games, the course time will not be spent for putting together game design documents (GDD). During the course participants will learn traditional coding through remaking several retro games:
– Console (terminal) game
– Game UI development
– Text adventure game
– Pong action game
– 3D pong game
– Multiplayer pong
In order to the get quick results, an high end game design platform and engine – Unity – will be used.

Participants
The course is for beginners and has no specific prerequisites, but it is recommended to attend Design of Serious Games and Gamification Workshop courses. The course is limited to 20 participants.
Credit points
After completing all course assignments, it’s possible to get 2 ECTS.
