The workshop promotes inspiration, artistic and personal growth. It helps people to feel free to experiment, and to exceed their own expectations.
Our workshop program develops participants’ teaching skills, ideas, and the personal value of creating art. The program is suitable for everyone from the complete beginner to art educator and professional artist. No specific background is required.
This five-day course consists of two parts:
• Estonian Land Dance Workshop: Dance and performance art will give us the basic knowledge about people living in Estonia. We will perform land dancing and discuss dance history.
Performer: Iivi Zájedová (PhD, professional dancer, senior researcher of Tallinn University‘s Institute of Fine Arts and a visiting lecturer at Charles University in Prague).
• Estonian Land Art Workshop: In this workshop everyone can use their creativity and experiment with natural materials. We will discuss contemporary art and land art history.
Lecturer: Aili Vahtrapuu (PhD, sculptor, professor of Tallinn University‘s Institute of Fine Arts).
A short documentary will be produced during this summer school course, introducing the activities, methods, and cultural experience.
Participants
This course is suitable for everyone who wants to develop his/her creativity and who is interested in Estonian culture, country life, land dance and art. Upon completion of the course, the students will receive a certificate of participation.

250 EUR. For students 200 EUR.
